Intercultural work
Within the framework of globalisation, intercultural teams are gaining in importance.
Work in a range of cultural groups or with colleagues from other cultures can often be highly complex and difficult. Management must be capable of asserting itself abroad, personnel in Germany is required to work with those in foreign countries and cross-border team meetings take place, e.g. with video, telephone or web conferencing. However, such groups and constellations are commonly faced with unintentional misunderstandings and energy-sapping conflicts. Increasing significance is being placed on cross-border communication and cooperation, and the ability to accept diverse cultures whilst also developing the necessary skills.
oezpa supports this by providing training and coaching which aids personnel to understand the causes of such conflicts, and also offers practical help in tackling cross-cultural situations.
The aim is to sensitise participants to the problems of intercultural teamwork, to expand relevant skills and competences and to utilise the diversity of a team for profitability.
